Do I need ID to complete bookings?
When completing your online booking with us, an ID verification is required before signing our contract. This is done via the booking process remotely by matching your photograph in your ID to a selfie.

How often can I access the site?
You can access your unit as often as you wish during the following hours -
Monday – Sunday: 06:00 – 19.00
If you require 24/7 access, there is an option for this during the booking process for a small fee.

What security do you have?
We have CCTV that runs 24/7 covering all entry and exit points and the site perimiter. During out of hours, our CCTV is monitored via a 3rd party company for your peace of mind. The site entrance/exit is a smart access gate so you will need a pin code for entry. Each container is provided with a high quality CEN 3 padlock free of charge.

What happens if I forget my access code?
You must bring proof of ID and answer some security questions correctly then we can provide your access code.

Can I give permission for other people to access my unit?
Yes, you must first name them on your account, this can be done when signing up or if you're already a customer. Also you need to give them a key for your padlock plus any access codes.

Can I have deliveries sent to site?
Unfortunately, we don't allow this serivce

Insurance

Will I need insurance?
Insurance is compulsory whilst in storage with us as it protects you as well as us in the event of something happening to your belongings. Although we strive to make your belongings as safe and secure as possible, things can happen out of our control. If you're storing inside a container unit, we offer a bespoke insurance policy for your convenience. If you're storing outside a container unit (vehicle storage) unfortunately, we can't offer insurance although we would need you to provide proof of insurance to info@haloselfstore.co.uk prior to moving in

Deposit and Other Fees

Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, upon moving in you will pay a security deposit. Your deposit will be one months rent. Your deposit will be fully refunded on your day of departure providing you are paid up-to-date, your container is clean, your container isn't damaged and your padlock key is returned.

How do I pay?
You can pay by debit/credit card.

Can a family member/friend pay my bill?
Yes, once you are moved in you can arrange for someone else to pay your bill.
